Yeowi the Pervert

"Good"

submission: Yeowi the Pervert
date: December 5, 2009

I love how you can choose to undress either gender and be a character of either too. I also like how you added new levels since the last time I played.

I don't like that one touch of essence will cost me the whole game and then I have to start over from person one. It would be great if there were some way for me to start over from the same person I lost at and not have to start the whole game over.

Gretel and Hansel

"Beautiful and Morbid"

submission: Gretel and Hansel
date: December 4, 2009

At first, I felt incredibly guilty for shooting Abel-I mean Hansel with the slingshot. He was bleeding and everything! :[
But I wanted to unlock all the medals, so I persisted. And the look on Gretel's face afterward made me laugh out loud!

Other than that, the art is gorgeous. And the dark atmosphere fits a story about two children who're left to die by their parents and then have to kill a cannibalistic witch to escape being slaughtered. Fairy tales really aren't for children. -_-

I give it an 8/10 because searching for the stones became really tedious after a while. And I kept failing the game at the end for some reason. I wasn't able to place the final stone and I don't know why.

Level Up!

"Wonderful"

submission: Level Up!
date: December 3, 2009

I just started playing and already I like this game a lot. I love how everything you do enhances SOME skill or other. The music is enjoyable and fits perfectly with the pixel graphics.
I love how I play a GIRL and it's a mysterious boy who lands in my yard with no memory. I like the conversations and the mechanics are easy to get a hold of without a ton of buttons to memorize. The Codex was fun to read through. I like being able to warp between save points...
There's nothing bad I can say yet. Everything I can't reach or do, I just figure I need to level up some skill and come back to it. It's VERY refreshing!

Being One - Episode 3

"Can't wait for more!"

date: October 3, 2009

Ohh!! I just can't WAIT for episode 4! I've played all three, but I think I'll have to play this one again, since it doesn't stand out in my mind as much as the other two. It's too bad that we skipped all those other floors that could have been fascinating escape games on their own as well. I'm disappointed that I don't get to run around the werewolf part of the facility.
But other than that I love these games! With every chapter, my hypothesis as to what exactly I am got changed. At first I thought I was an alien too. Then maybe that I was a combo of several 'mythical' creatures' genes.

Enjoyable Horse Racing

"I like it"

date: February 14, 2009

It is an enjoyable little game. If I had to improve on it, I would have the player able to create and name their own horse. They could pick its stats and put it in races for money if they won.
I like the animation. But for some reason the beach course came up as a blank red screen for me!

the ugly

"It could have been good"

submission: the ugly
date: January 23, 2009

Just how many killers are in this house anyway? I mean, there's the guy I'm hiding from. But is he the same guy as in the bedroom? How on earth did he get passed the locked door when the key is outside of the locked door? He couldn't have gone inside, locked the door, hid in the room and then magically put the key elsewhere in the house. Why does the locked door imediately open to a room the size of a closet, containing another door anyway? And if that is "The Ugly" hiding in the room behind the locked door, then could I call the police for help? Somehow I doubt it.

Aside from all the story-related questions (Including the whole hand/mouth thing that has been raised by other players) the only thing in the gameplay that annoyed me was that I could die pretty much every 3 seconds and the whole "He grabs a knife and comes and kills you" got on my nerves as being too long. The first time I was like "Crud! I died!" But after seeing that with EVERY MOVE I made, it got really annoying! Then I hit restart and I have to sit through the "Where is your mother? Where is your father?" Screen every time. Really got on my nerves!

I would suggest giving the player more non-fatal options. I mean, I want to see what will happen if I press the button in the kitchen, but I already know. I'll die. It's kind of aggravating that the only purpose is to trip you up. Yes? Die. No? nothing happens. and the whole game seems to be made of those options!
Do you want to watch the death scene AGAIN?

"Hey great, a new episode!"

date: January 23, 2009

This is my favorite series on Newgrounds. Nice to see a new episode up! I especially like all the 'emo red link' jokes because I'm the red link out of my friends.
Also I thought your use of actual Zelda sound FX was great! Hearing them gave me a little giddy feeling, so I suppose your work here is done!

Exmortis

"Maximum Creep-factor"

submission: Exmortis
date: January 23, 2009

Great creepy, gory game! I figured out the twist at the ending within a few minutes though. That being said, it STILL made my stomach turn when the twist finally came about! THAT'S some good horror right there!
Sadly, I am a totally pansy-assed wimp and turned the sound off because I can't take sudden SHOCKS well at all. So I missed out on anything that had to be comunicated to the player by sound!
Wonder how deaf players get through it? XP
